Safety & Limitations

Kardio·AS provides physiological analysis and software-derived interpretations from RR intervals and a single-channel ECG recording acquired from a compatible chest sensor. Results are intended for informational, research, wellness and physiological trend-assessment purposes.

Not a replacement for medical assessment

Kardio·AS does not replace professional medical diagnosis, diagnostic ECG or emergency assessment. Do not change prescribed medication, medical treatment or exercise restrictions solely on the basis of Kardio·AS results.

If symptoms such as chest pain, fainting, severe shortness of breath, sustained palpitations or marked weakness occur, seek appropriate medical assessment regardless of the application result.

ECG limitations

The direct ECG used by Kardio·AS is a single non-standard chest-sensor channel at approximately 130 Hz. This is substantially different from a diagnostic 12-lead ECG. The software may identify morphology and rhythm patterns useful for screening and observation, but it cannot exclude or confirm all cardiac abnormalities.

Diagnostic-hypothesis scores and evidence scores shown by the software are not calibrated probabilities of disease.

HRV limitations

HRV parameters depend strongly on recording duration, body position, breathing pattern, physical activity, emotional state, sleep, caffeine/alcohol and other substances, medication, illness/recovery state, signal quality and artifacts.

Reference ranges shown by the software are broad display or engineering orientation ranges and should not be interpreted as universal diagnostic norms.

Respiratory analysis

Respiratory analysis is reconstructed indirectly from RR/NN modulation. It is not a direct measurement of breathing, spirometry, airflow, oxygen saturation or capnography.

Emotional and experimental profiles

The Emotional State Profile is an indirect autonomic model based on HRV and respiratory features. It does not directly measure emotion and does not provide a psychiatric or psychological diagnosis.

The Ayurvedic HRV Profile and HRV-derived Neuroregulatory Profile are experimental software interpretations. Kardio·AS does not record EEG and does not measure cerebral electrical activity or brain-wave frequencies.
